Meeting Venue

The 2-day meeting will be hosted at Space Park Leicester (SPL). SPL is located in the north part of Leicester, just next to the National Space Centre, a 10-15 minutes ride by car from the city centre and the train station.

Travel

By Car

SPL is located just off the A6, two miles north of Leicester City Centre, midway between Leicester’s inner and outer ring roads.

Brown road signs with a distinctive rocket logo of the nearby National Space Centre will direct you from the arterial routes around Leicester.

By Bus

First Bus 54
Runs every 7-8 mins throughout the day Monday to Friday (regularly from 07:00), as well as over the weekend.
The nearest stop is called Abbey Lane, and is at the junction of Abbey Lane and Beaumont Leys Lane.

Runs at regular intervals along Abbey Lane, 24/7

Both buses drop off and pick up close to SPL (ask the Driver to notify you where to alight, requesting the Space Centre). 

By Rail

East Midland Trains and Cross Country Trains serve Leicester Station. From here you can either take a bus or a taxi to SPL (or it's a ~45 min walk)

First bus 54 runs every 7-8 minutes Monday to Friday from the Haymarket bus station, a ~15 min walk from the railway station.
